What is the Chicago Astronomer...
The Chicago Astronomer is not a club, society or a membership based group, but an educational organization, providing opportunities for all sky lovers, regardless of age or background, to interact and participate first hand in all things space & astronomical since 2004. We are the Resident Astronomer for the Chicago Park District, the 606 Bloomingdale Trail
and contracted with many institutions and organizations, delivering the cosmos to thousands.
Our Crew Members are skilled and knowledgeable in sharing the urban astronomy experience with our fans and friends
across the city…and beyond.
